Who I work with
I work with individuals, with a particular focus on lawyers and legal professionals, navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, OCD, trauma, and the strain of holding a great deal together beneath a highly functional exterior.
Many of the clients I support are thoughtful, capable, and deeply responsible. On the surface, they may appear composed and successful. Underneath, they may feel anxious, disconnected, emotionally overwhelmed, or caught in patterns of overthinking, self-pressure, and relentless internal demand.
Some come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, perfectionism, or the pressure to keep performing at a high level no matter the cost. Others are trying to make sense of workplace dynamics, difficult relationship patterns, communication challenges, or painful experiences that have affected their sense of safety, confidence, and connection to themselves.
How I work
As a lawyer, social worker, and trauma-informed therapist, I bring an integrative approach to my work that reflects both psychological depth and practical understanding of the real-world pressures many clients are living under.
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation-based support. I adapt therapy to the individual client, their lived experience, and the realities of daily life.
As a clinician at Eden Wellness, I work through an integrative, trauma-informed lens that aligns with the Eden approach. This means supporting high-achieving adults in developing greater awareness, understanding the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and creating meaningful, sustainable change over time.
How therapy with me feels
I want therapy to feel like a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and able to be honest about what is happening beneath the surface.
My style is genuine and engaged, while also being thoughtful and appropriately challenging. Together, we work to identify patterns, make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, and create change that feels meaningful and realistic. My goal is to help you feel better, understand yourself more clearly, and move through life with greater steadiness, flexibility, and self-trust.
