Who I work with
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, reproductive challenges, and major life transitions, including infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, perimenopause, and menopause. I also support people carrying the weight of caregiving, professional responsibility, health-related stress, and long periods of holding too much.
Many of the clients I work with are capable and outwardly functional. They may be used to coping, supporting others, and pushing through. Beneath that, they may feel depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unlike themselves.
For some, this shows up as disrupted sleep, shorter patience, worry, heaviness, or feeling unfamiliar in their own body. For others, it is the sense that something has shifted, but they cannot quite name what or why.
Sometimes anxiety is the starting point. But often, there is more underneath: loss, trauma, hormonal change, cumulative stress, or a nervous system that has been carrying too much for too long.
How I work
With over 20 years of clinical experience in trauma, loss, and adjustment, I bring a steady, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
My work is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and somatic therapies. I pay attention to thoughts, emotions, the body, and the nervous system.
Therapy with me is about understanding what has been happening, building tools that support daily life, and helping you feel more connected to yourself again.
As a clinician at Eden Wellness, I work through an integrative, trauma-informed lens that aligns with the Eden Approach. This means we consider your history, your current circumstances, your relationships, your body, and the demands of the life you are living.
How therapy with me feels
Therapy with me feels calm, supportive, and grounding.
I offer a space where you do not have to minimize what you are carrying or have the right words for it before you begin.
My style is warm, collaborative, and steady. Together, we work at a manageable pace while still moving toward meaningful change. We may focus on understanding patterns, strengthening coping skills, processing grief or trauma, supporting nervous system regulation, or helping you feel more present in your life.
You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. It is enough to notice that something needs your attention.
Booking
I offer complimentary 20-minute video consultations so we can get a sense of fit and decide together whether working together feels right for you.
