Who I work with

By most measures, your life works. You meet deadlines. You show up for other people. You keep moving, even when you are tired. You are the person others turn to when something needs to get done.

What you do not always show is what it costs. You lie awake replaying conversations or scanning through tomorrow’s tasks. Over time, anxiety, self-criticism, stress, or low mood can start to take the colour out of parts of your life that once felt alive. You might see it in small ways: less patience, less joy, more numbness, or more tension in the relationships that matter most.

I know this experience firsthand. As a high-achiever, a work-in-progress recovering perfectionist, former lawyer, mother of four, and Founder and Clinic Director of Eden Wellness Psychotherapy, I understand both the pull to keep going and the cost of doing it for too long. My own path taught me that strength is not only continuing, but also knowing when to pause, reassess, and choose a different way forward. That understanding sits at the centre of my work as a therapist.

How I work

The relationship is central to the process. I do not avoid hard truths, and I stay with you through the uncomfortable parts, not only the polished ones. I offer clear feedback, track your progress, and keep us focused. As part of the Eden Approach, I work in an integrative, trauma-informed way that respects both your history and your current reality. My aim is not only to help you feel relief, but to help you feel steadier and more at ease. This is what I mean by returning to your inner Eden.

How therapy with me feels

Therapy with me is reflective and results-oriented. I am straightforward, curious, and collaborative. I ask thoughtful, sometimes challenging questions to help you see yourself and your patterns clearly. Together, we look beneath what is happening, make sense of it, and turn that insight into changes you can feel in your daily life.

Other advanced trainings
I’m a mother of four, three boys and one girl. Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me in a hockey arena somewhere across Ontario, at the gym, or running errands to keep up with the busy pace of family life. In quieter moments, I love to read, hike, do Pilates, and travel.
